March 11th, 2020 Update

At Campus Cooks, nothing is more important than the health and safety of our clients and team members. In response to the growing number of campuses that are moving to E-Learning after Spring Break, we wanted to reach out and provide a Campus Cooks operational update.

First and foremost, we are here to support the chapter and enhance the Greek Experience. We will continue to follow the guidance of the CDC, state and local health departments, as well as the direction of House Corporation.

During Spring Break, Campus Cooks will focus on cleaning in kitchens and serving areas at chapters across the country. Per the CDC and EPA, current sanitizing agents that are already in use in our kitchens work to kill the virus. It has also been determined that the COVID-19 virus cannot be transmitted through food. For team members and chapter members, hand washing and 60% sanitizer solution is effective in combating the potential spread of infection.

The Campus Cooks Operations Team is in constant contact with our staff and vendors and have already refocused training on sanitation and prevention.

Please do not hesitate to reach out with any questions regarding this or previous information and look for continued communication, as situations evolve.

March 5th, 2020 Update

At Campus Cooks the safety of students, clients and employees is our primary concern. We will follow all direction from the CDC, Local Health agencies and Campus authorities on a case-by-case basis.

Our Home Office team has formed a taskforce and have plans in place to ensure that we are able to address each individual circumstance quickly and effectively. We are in frequent communication with our vendors, partners, national organizations and campuses to stay up to date about their plans and status. Should you find your chapter is directly affected by COVID-19, we will work with each client to ensure continued service, where applicable and safe for everyone.

We are currently in the process of developing a preparedness plan in the event that the outbreak reaches any of the campuses or chapters that we serve. We are also monitoring the Center for Disease Control and the Department of Public Health for the most recent information.
